My family was driving home from dinner with Bill's family the other night.
Erika asks "Why are there so many peace signs?"
Quiet pause
and then her friend Whitley responds in her most dude voice " Peace is Awesome."
We all laughed.
Many thoughts have crossed my mind this week. With my brother in Iraq , my best friends husband getting ready to be deployed to Kuwait, and enjoying the quiet moments in my house.
I have to agree " Peace is Awesome." However it can be hard to find.
May we all find a little bit of peace every day.
